We are convinced that in this respect, the interests of Moreld's owners align with those of our management, employees, customers and the communities in which we operate. In light of the above, Moreld has adopted this ESG policy as an integral part of our operations.
Sustainability track record
Renewable energy projects whether they be in offshore wind, hydropower or solar are a prerequisite for a sustainable energy supply. Moreld has participated in 232 renewable energy projects as per December 2022.
We have contributed to our customers reducing their carbon footprint by 549 820 tonnes through hybridization, electrification, and energy efficiency solutions.
At Moreld, we practice what we preach. Our own carbon footprint for Scope 1 and 2 was 1387 tonnes in 2022, a reduction of 48,7% from 2021 and 61,8% from 2019.

Environment
Moreld strives to follow industry best practices in environmental responsibility, ensuring sustainable operations. We support our customers in being part of the climate solution. Moreld offsets 100% of its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions through the Trefadder carbon capture initiative, planting trees to absorb our emissions and combat climate change.
Governance
Moreld adheres to Invest Europe’s Corporate Governance Guidelines and complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Our ESG practices are regularly reviewed, with each company tracking waste, recycling, and greenhouse gas emissions. Moreld companies are ISO 9001 certified, with many holding additional HSE-related certifications, such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
