New CEO of HydePoint

HydePoint is pleased to announce that Elin Steinsland has been appointed as the CEO of the company. With extensive knowledge of both HydePoint’s product and the emerging hydrogen value chain, Elin is the preferred candidate to lead the company into the future.

Elin has been a vital part of HydePoint since its foundation in 2022. As CEO, Elin will be responsible for building a strong organization, and overseeing its day-to-day operations.

This move is an important step in positioning HydePoint in the global renewable market and building a strong and sustainable organization in close cooperation with the owner organizations Moreld, Kongsberg Gruppen, and Arendal Fossekompaniet.

“I am thrilled to take on the role of CEO at HydePoint,” Elin says. “I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for us and look forward to working closely with the team to achieve our goals and create a more sustainable future.”

Elin holds a Master’s degree in Physics from NTNU and a Ph.D. in Silicon Sensor Technology from UiO. With extensive experience as a manager at various levels, ranging from department management to senior executive positions, Elin possesses a skillset that includes technology management, industrialization, driving change processes, creating business cases, and managing people across different locations and countries.
