Moreld Minox has signed contract with Shell Nigeria
Moreld Minox has signed contract with Shell Nigeria for the supply of 2 new Minox Compact deoxygenation systems.
The units will be installed on Bonga Main FPSO.
The new 4th generation Minox systems will contribute to maintain production and enable Shell to operate environmentally friendly systems, reducing CO2 emissions and chemical consumption.
“This is an important contract for Moreld Minox” says CEO Ole-Morten Erichsrud. “We are excited and proud that Shell again has chosen Minox deoxygenation system”.
The contract includes 2 skid mounted systems, Operator training and that Minox will establish a local operation in Nigeria that will service Shell and provide local operational support to the West African Market.
With the 2 new units installed on Bonga, Moreld Minox has 6 systems operating in Nigerian deep-water.
“Nigeria and West-Africa is an important market for Minox, and we aim for having more activity in this region in years to come” – says Erichsrud.
